Blog4Mobile has been enriched by another neat feature:

While yet only one feed had been parsed per blog, it is now possible to integrate up to six rss feeds, in order to display all the content of the blog in its mobile version.

This function gets important, as soon as the internet blog creates a particular rss feed for each category or for the archive.

To grant a reasonable page architecture of the mobile blog, new templates have been added.

Due to demands of Blog4Mobile users we implemented a function to avoid search engine indexation/archiving of the mobile blog.

Although Google differentiates between mobile and regular web content instead of estimating it as duplicate content, (otherwise larger sites would have been punished already, plus online rss-feed readers or content aggregators of any kind could be harmful to search engine ranking) Blog4Mobile users may now decide by themselves whether they want their mobile sites to be indexed or archived.

Every blogger who converts the web content of his blog for the mobile internet using Blog4Mobile, should be interested to let his readers know, that his posts are accessible via mobile phones, too.

Using the advertisement media this can be easily done.
But how to reach the mobile blog without typing in the URL of the mobilized version?

The solution are QR-Codes: Blog4Mobile extended their service by integrating automatically generated and individually editable QR-Codes for every mobile blog in the advertising media section. Now interested readers who have installed a QR-Reader on their phone are able to transfer the URL directly into the browser of their mobile phone without typing.

The Blog4Mobile content parser features a new skill:

In case there is a youtube video embedded in one of the blogposts, the parsing mechanism automatically identifies it and links to the corresponding 3GP video. This allows the blog reader to watch embedded youtube videos without causing tons of data traffic.

Unfortunately this function is restricted to youtube videos!

That’s another interesting function which helps to display blog content in the mobile internet on a mobile phone or PDA.

We made it! Blog4mobile started the beta version of an online blog content converting service for the mobile internet.
